Been told panels be Australian made and specific designed for our condition. Chinese made and not that good. after 4 Years efficiency has dropped 30%. Price was lot higher than other suppliers, but I chose based on the misrepresentation. After panels arrived noticed being Chinese made, been told I misheard etc

I was so happy to hear this company went into liquidation. They are/were the biggest rip off merchants and used pushy and forceful sales techniques on vulnerable people. Their solar systems were double the price of anyone else but no better than others. The owner of the company is a two faced liar and as dodgy as anything! They also did many illegal things, including illegal finance agreements where the top copy did not match the bottom copy!

All I wanted from them was a ball park figure and general information, Instead of this they insisted I have a rep visit my home who when he did, talked for an hour until I'd had enough. In the end they didnt even get back to me with any prices. Hopeless.

Did not go with these as they are a high pressure company who sent a young man to our home hoping to pressure us into having an advertisement for them out the front of our home and offered to discount a very overpriced system in return. We were not born yesterday and sent him on his way. We will use a more honest and reputable company to do our system!

Be careful with Polaris. They install panels in October 2011 and broke 3 roof tiles doing it. This was not reported to us and tiles were not replaced (we had big stack close to place than Control Cabinet was installed), they decide to use silicon. A month ago we notice marks on ceiling and it was confirmed that silicon repair did not last. But it lasted a year, so it is out of warranty. After few phone calls (they do not return your call when you leave a message) we manage to “talk” to manager (who only pass message to receptionist because we are not important to talk to once when sale is done) and he declined our claim to come and fix it because it’s out of 1 year warranty. Nothing about breaking tiles and not replacing them and not informing us that they are broken. It is out of warranty, and this is all that he wanted to say.

Strange how a few sour tastes can spoil the meal. I invited a sales rep to my home and found them punctual and professional. The product and its benefits where fully explained, so well that I purchased the system. I have had the system for around 12 months now so the service and quality have not really been tested but 5 stars in every other category. Thank you Polaris

I wouldnt buy anything from this company. My friend was employed by them to market the product in shopping centres on the basis that they would be paid a fixed rate per hour plus a bonus if any leads they got turned into sales. After working for several days they were terminated and told that they would not be paid if any of the leads turned into sales. This was a case of misleading young people into working for them.

Never before have I been so disappointed with an investment. The Company does not stand by it's workmanship or honour their commitment to warranty. They lie and turn the responsibilty back on the Customer. The Salesman will promise the earth, knowing full well the Company will not back him. Polaris Solar will take your Money and Run, they need to be held to task and answerable for the end product they deliver.
