17 months in and I can confidently say that solar was a great choice and this company was great. Albeit there were some delays in the connection, but it all got sorted and I've wiped most of my bill off. Maybe it's time for an upgrade

We purchased this system a very long time ago. I spent a long time thinking about our experience and to be honest it was neither here nor there. So the pros for us were: Sales rep ettiquite, functionality, customer service, quality of system & Australian call centre (none of this overseas business). Cons were: delays with our connection & finding out that other companies were selling the same size system at at least $1000 cheaper! We confronted them about the pricing and a representative explained that we had purchased an SMA sunnyboy which is german manufactured so costs more. We stuck it out and now realise that we paid a little bit extra for qualiry of system and service. they explained to us today that they have new management and procedures in place and wanted to give us a courtesy call to let us know that we are in safe hands which i thought was very nice since.

The solar expert who came to visit us (i think his name was Charlie) was really calm, nice and not your normal type of sales person. He advised us that we wouldn't need more than a 4kW solar system but still helped us explore our options with a bigger or smaller system, letting us know the benefits of both. My partner and I agreed to go ahead with the offer a couple of weeks after and purchased the 4kW system for just under $5,000. The sales rep was an elderly guy, really nice and sincere. He informed us of the quality of the products and this is why I am so happy with the purchase I have made. Although it did take a while to get the product installed, the customer service, quality of the product and pricing of the system was definately worthwhile for us. The only issue I had was the duration of getting it installed but other than that everything else was fine.

Loved the promotional discount I was selected for. These guys are great, the lady over the phone was super nice. Had my system up for over a year & I'm super happy with the savings!!! Money well spent!!!!

Had a 5kw system put in about 14 months ago. Had a man come out and quote me, fairly happy on the price they gave as I had been comparing pricing with other companies. System is working pretty well eventually started saving a lot of money. Overall happy with the service.

We purchased a system about 2 years ago, everything ran smoothly until just last month our inverter malfunctioned showing error messages. We were quite disappointed as we paid extra for some so called German SMA Sunnyboy inverter that apparently was the best (it breaks down after 2 years... yeah right). Turns out the warranty still holds so we called up the installers and they came out to replace it with a new one just today. Apparently the company has taken on new management to carry the warranties. After reading the reviews below, I wouldn't have thought it was the same company that I dealt with.........

Having just other reviews I have to agree 100percent. It took me nearly 12 months to get someone to check out my system as it kept turning itself off every couple of days. Could never get anyone to return phone calls or emails. Eventually after a lot of stuffing around 2 new electricians to the job turned up (I didn't know they were coming) and they informed me that the system installed was completely the wrong one. They were very good and obtained the correct system and installed it and it has been working okay ever since. However now I am trying to get my feed in tariff repaid to me and once again cannot get anyone to return my emails as to when it is coming through. I had a girl once ring me and demand my bank account details and when I told her that I didn't give out that information over the phone, and that I had submitted the details when sending in my accounts for rebate, she just hung up on me. I did send them a letter telling them what lousy service they had and that no-one in their company knew what PR actually was. This is the most inept and rudest company existing.

They are now operating under Solar Energy Services or Solar Co and I am completely and utterly disgusted in this business. I have reported them to the ACCC and wasn't surprised to find out that there are a HEAP of complaints already with the ACCC about this company. Class action is being taken. So if you have been ripped off or owed money please contact the ACCC or myself to continue moving this forward.

  This company is a rip off what they say is not what you get if you get it at all. It took over 12 months to get my solar tio get connected. they will never reply to phone calls or e mails. GThe workmanshiop is shoddy and they damaged my roof(it now leaks ) where they installed it. The workers also dented the roof and left screws and other rubbish on my driveweay They also left personal rubbish in my shed which I had to dispose of. If they contact anyone for an in stal dont have anything to do with them. The so called direcgtor Volkan is a liar and tells you anything he wants to pacify you if you can get to gtaklk to him. he wont answer any calls to him and you can only get them to give him a message and he doesnt call back until threats are made against the company

We were dealing with Country Solar Choice. I should have been more diligent, and checked their reputation. Their service is a joke, contacting their office is impossible as no one answers or gives a call back. They don't answer emails either. We were forced to pay, for the product even when we were unhappy with the installation. Damaged roof not fixed, water leaking through the ceiling. The agreement was for a 30 cent rebate. I intend to take this further then whinging on this forum. BUT be warned, this company uses every trick to sell their products and collect monies. So if there are a group of you who feel that this company should be de anything!!! please lest us do it together.
