					<description><![CDATA[Communication and customer relations with Sapphire Solar was appalling to say the least.
Our relationship with owner/director/sales rep., Ross Young, started well enough but it soon headed south due to his disinterest in answering calls, emails, texts once he had been fully paid for the job. Being new to the whole solar experience we had questions and concerns which we wanted answered. Ross ignored my attempts to get answers and often just passed the buck to someone else.
When eventually I was able to get a hold of him I conveyed how disappointed I was in how he handled the whole thing and he proceeded to call me a liar and that he always answered my queries…. he didn’t. The whole conversation ended up in a shouting match with him continually calling me (the customer) a liar and how dare I question his reputation and then he hung up on me. 
I was disgusted with his whole attitude and refused to have any further dealings with him. His customer relations skills are abysmal. Who in their right mind alienates a customer like that? Especially since we own a construction company which could have provided him with future work. Needless to say because of his fragile ego he has burnt that bridge. 
I cannot document everything I had to go through just to get my job completely finished suffice to say that I signed the contract on 30 October 2019 and it was not completed until 31 January 2020.
The contract was to install 44 solar panels on our roof but only 41 were installed due to lack of space. This was only discovered by going on the roof ourselves and counting the panels installed. We had paid for 44 panels and wanted a refund for the 3 panels not installed. This raises the question of whether Sapphire Solar would have ever notified us of this if we didn’t check ourselves. I tried to contact the office but no one answered the phones and their message bank was full and I also sent emails which were constantly ignored. Finally, I sent an email which stated that I was going to dispute my payment to them through my credit card company. The next day I received an email stating that I would receive my refund and such drastic action was not required. I eventually received the refund.
While the installation of the panels had been completed, the installers ran out of material to cover some exposed wires in the garage, which they said they would return the next day to complete. Communication with the installer and the office went on for months and no one returned to finish the job or bothered to answer my queries. So again I threatened to involve the credit card company and dispute the payment for non-completion. I immediately received notification via email that someone would be there to complete the job the next day. This was done on the 31 January 2020.
There were also other problems with this company that I will not go into as this stage. Needless to say this experience has been so time consuming and extremely disappointing that I would never recommend Sapphire Solar to anyone. If I had not paid an amount by credit card I would have no recourse to get my issues resolved and would still be battling.
This company has no respect for their customers and once they have your money they move on and you are just an irritation to them. 
Stay clear from Sapphire Solar! Find a company that is reputable and treats its customers as a priority and not a nuisance.

If you have any solar needs whatsoever, small or large these folks are the people to call. Reliable, responsive and super trustworthy I honestly can not recommend them enough.]]></description>

What panels are best, how much and how many, which brand of inverter, should I get batteries, will the panels get shade at some time, if so should I get micro inverters or optimisers?  All the time wondering who to trust.  Over time I slowly increased my confidence about what I needed and reduced the number of providers until I settled on Nationwide Solar Solutions.  The decision was not easy as several companies presented as honest, competent and cost competitive.  Deciding on components came down to research and trust.   
Having committed to Nationwide Solar Solutions I agreed a date for the installation.
Reviewing a company when everything goes well is OK but the real test is how a company acts when things don&#039;t go exactly as planned.  That is what happened to me and is why I am happy to recommend Nationwide Solar Solutions.  
On the Monday scheduled for the installation  nothing happened.  I phoned and asked for an explanation - &quot;we will find out and get back to you&quot;.  It turned out that the installer who only lived 20 minutes away was not well, could hardly talk and was difficult to contact.  It took a day or two to confirm that the installer was indeed unable to work and another day to confirm he would be available to do the installation by Friday.  During that week the staff at Nationwide Solar Solutions scrambled to keep me informed.
On the Friday the installer arrived early, his voice was still weak and husky confirming that he had not been well.  The installation was as difficult as it could be as the roof was steep (45 degrees), access through the house was not easy but each problem had a solution.  I was amazed at the speed of the installation and attention to detail and safety.
In the days following the installation I have watched the system operating using the software provided.  On a good day the system generates 25 kwh of power, better than I had hoped for.  
I have been contacted by Nationwide Solar Solutions to confirm that all went well and I was keen to commend the installer and his apprentice.
I am happy to endorse and recommend Nationwide Solar Solutions to others.]]></description>

After about 8 months, one of the batteries failed rendering the backup element of the system unworkable, even though the batteries were under warranty Ben would not replace them.
After another 6 months of trying to negotiate with Ben, he does not return my calls and we have sort other options.
The worst customer experience, I have ever experienced, in any industry I have come across.
 When you are investing significant dollars into a solar system, have a look for an established well reviewed installers, this is not one of them.]]></description>
