Brisbane based solar company, SunSource Group Pty Ltd, has gone into liquidation this week. Following some speculation that the company was struggling to stay afloat, SunSource’s insolvency notice was officially released on July 1st 2016.
Worrells Solvency and Forensic Accountants is the administrator of SunSource Group’s liquidation, with Brisbane office partners Chris Cook and Morgan Lane heading the liquidation team.
In the lead up to the announcement and shortly after, the SunSource Group’s ratings and reviews reflected both positive and negative experiences with the company. One review explained that a SunSource sent a “rep come out and do the big spiel, took our deposit then nothing. Get messages and phone calls to say that the company has gone under”, while others said the “service was terrible, organisation of the install was abysmal”.
SunSource does, however, have more positive reviews and ratings than negative – even an average rating of 4.3 on the ASQ TrustScore.
Information as to the cause of SunSource Group’s liquidation is yet to be revealed.
