Groups Support the Use of Solar Panels

Green Cross Australia and Ingenero have joined forces and launched a project that aims to make solar energy more affordable for homes and commercial establishments all around the country. For a small monthly fee, members can avail of the energy generated by the solar system during daytime, and at night link up to the grid in the evening courtesy of their energy provider.

The Benefits of the Solar System

According to Green Cross Australia Chief Executive Mara Bún, the system, dubbed Every Rooftop, will provide Australians with the means to buy affordable solar energy like never before. In other countries like the US use of solar power is increasing, and according to Bún the same thing should happen in Australia because for homes and businesses it will mean a reduction in power cost. Because it has so many upsides, Green Cross Australia and its partner are going to great lengths explaining to Australians the benefits.

What This Means for the Consumer

Once this system is in place, customers will reap several benefits. For starters there’s very little risk for the customer because the company that leases the product will be the one who has to provide the insurance and maintain it for the duration of the lease. The customer will know exactly how much electricity they will need, and if their requirements are not met, there will be a refund.

Under this solar panel finance setup, there’s very little risk for the customer as it is the company leasing that has to provide security and guarantee for their product. More than anything else, this scheme becomes an avenue by which people can avail of solar power without paying a high fee. The latest surveys show that solar power usage is going to increase, so this project comes at the right time.
