I also don't recommend a Woman's Spark. We had a 4kw system installed and fault codes started appearing on the inverters and they would shut down. Trying to them to honour the warranty is a hassle. Took about 4 months before repair finally occurred, and only after I threatened with Ombudsman action. Now both inverters are faulted again, and once again I'm having to chase these guys up. Don't recommend at all.

I was super happy with the quote i was given. Found them through Facebook and within a week of checking other quotes found them to be the cheapest. I then was super stoked to see staff rock up when they said they would and leave the property without any mess afterwards. The system over the last couple of months has already saved us hundreds - and i love the app to watch my savings. Thanks guys - well done.

The installation took ages to complete - apparently they do not keep much stock on hand. The sales people were very quick to take our money but lost interest thereafter. We have had a roof top isolator trip out several times. This has involved phoning their customer support and waiting more than 40 minutes before being able to speak to anyone. I waited for more than an hour while the system told me that I was first in the queue before the call dropped out. Finally they agreed to replace the isolator under warranty. I filled in the forms with information that they already had and waited. I had to chase things up with them every time. Eventually on the 21st of November 2016 a man came and removed the faulty isolator and I received an email saying that they would replace it the next day. We are still waiting. Nobody could be bothered to call me or email to advise me of the situation. To date nobody has answered my emails. I would give them a negative rating for customer service if I could. Their facebook page is an exercise in vanity and any negative comments are quickly removed. I would not do business with them again.

very happy with our panels from a woman spark. installation was quick, on time, professional, tidy. we plan on going back to them to get our battery pack once the panels are paid off next year.

I don't recommend a Woman's Spark for anything they sell. We had a 5kw system installed and everything was great until fault codes started appearing on the inverters and they would shut down, therefore the solar panel system wasn't generating any power. They simply don't respond to your emails/calls and you have to constantly chase them up to get anywhere. It took over a month to get one inverter replaced. Adding insult to injury, the contractors they use don't have a clue, drilling straight through our garage wall when replacing one of the inverters thinking it was double brick wall and damaging the exterior brick work right next to the front door. Many more calls and weeks passed to get someone out to fix the damage they caused. Someone finally turned up with a tube of silicon to stick the damaged pieces of brick work back in place. The patch job looks even worse and is the first thing people notice when coming to our front door. My parents also have a solar system installed from AWS and their inverter is also having fault codes appear. They are now going through the pain of having to trying to get someone out to look at it/fix it. Avoid at all costs. Once they have your money don't simply don't care about providing any decent after sales support. I gave up trying to get them out to fix it properly as it's simply not worth my time and effort.

BE WARNED - Read why Installation left cracked tiles that no one bothered to advise only to have ceiling mould and damage before anything was noticed. No responsibility taken even though I have nothing else on my roof. Prompt to make a sale. I after 6 months I have had no more than 400W to 800 W on a clear summer day at noon on a 1.5kw system. Whenever I made it past 40 min phone waits they spent every excuse from dusting the system to waiting for it to occur longer even though it had been 2 years! Now my system has not been working altogether since over 3 months and I have sent countless emails which are acknowledged but ignored. Over $100 of phone calls over the last 3 months, and the same 40 minute wait, when I get someone, the same "we will forward it to our technical team, that's all we can do, no you can't speak to the technical guys" Coincidentally I called the number 2 weeks ago to quote for an upgrade and their technical team was free to come and install a system within a week, then I mentioned the warranty issue... and the same "we will forward to our technical team B*S" Cheap turned out costly in my experience, and I am still counting the months on how long it takes to come have a look at the system.

  I feel your pain. As soon as you have any issues with their system, their after sales support is non-existent. So many promises made by them to return calls, send people out, excessive wait times etc. The most ridiculous part of the whole process is the 'warranty claim' from they get you to fill out. ALL of the information you put into the form they already have - I guess it's just another way of delaying any repairs. I'm warning everyone I know to steer clear of them.

I have tried for 6 months for someone to quote a price for us and let us know how many panels we can fit. My calls and emails go unanswered. If this is how they are before a purchase I can't imagine their after service care. We were going to spend $12k on the battery system but we have given up chasing them and buying elsewhere. Poor service.

Purchased a 1.6 kW system in June 2012 after seeing huge advertising promotion of limited $997 supply available only on 1 Saturday. Salesman on that day stated that our site would be inspected to ascertain suitability and then unit would be installed. No inspection was made. The boys turned up to install it on the north facing roof as requested. After about 15 mins some fairly large holes, with electrical cords hanging out, were driven into the just painted porch walls when a shout came from the boys on the roof to the boss and chief driller. It sounded urgent so I followed up to the roof. "Did you check the pitch of the roof? We can't put it here because it's a skillion roof" was the roof top question asked of the boss. (I told them and showed photos when signing up) "Well I looked on Google" says the boss. Google of course wouldn't show up a slight gradient change from above. "Where do we go from here?" I asked. Two options I was told- "We walk away and leave you to patch the holes and repaint or we put it on the west facing roof and you lose 11% efficiency of the unit. I really could only accept the latter. I was passed a wad of paper work which I filed. No one mentioned that in the paperwork there was a form to be sent to Synergy so that I could get a rebate for electricity the unit would produce. So for 2yrs and 7 months I got no rebates. The inverter failed after that period and it took the company 11 weeks to replace the inverter. On the 8th week after reporting inverter failure I was told that my warranty was valid, a matter that I proved the first day when I provided all the relevant warranty paperwork. The inverter provided under warranty is not a new one but a reconditioned one and with only the original warranty period left. To have a new one supplied I would have to pay several hundred dollars. I guess on past experience this one will fail outside the warranty period and I will have a decision to make. To summarise I wouldn't use this company again or recommend them.

Signed up for a 6kw system and was asdvised that it would be installed on the 22/4/14. I took a days annual leave and waited, by 10am I called to find out what the hold up was and waited for a call back. I had to call again at 12 and finally got a call back from Karen at 1pm. She advised me that our system was delayed by a week but could not tell me why we had not been told of the delay. I posted on a Womans Spark face book page but they obviously only want good reports and removed it within the hour. The system could be worth it if your prepared to put up with pretty shitty service.
