There are two major government bodies involved in the solar industry. They are the Office of Renewable Energy Regulator (ORER) and the Clean Energy Council of Australia (CEC)
Office of Renewable Energy Regulator (ORER)
The Office of Renewable Energy Regulator (ORER) is a statutory authority established to watch over the roll out and implementation of the Large-scale Renewable Energy Target and the Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme.
Clean Energy Council (CEC)
The Clean Energy Council is the body representing Australia’s clean energy sector. It is an industry association made up of more than 600 member companies operating in the fields of renewable energy and energy efficiency.
